Our Story
The Heart Behind The Calm Core Collective
The Calm Core Collective was founded on the belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported. As a counselor, Lindsey Miller, M.Ed., LPC, is passionate about creating a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where adolescents and adults can navigate life's challenges with confidence and resilience.
With a focus on anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and neurodivergent experiences, Lindsey helps clients better understand themselves while developing practical coping skills, emotional wellness, and self-confidence. She specializes in supporting adolescents and young adults, including individuals with Autism, ADHD, and learning differences, who may be navigating executive functioning challenges, academic or career transitions, social stressors, burnout, or questions of identity and self-worth.
At The Calm Core Collective, therapy is rooted in meeting clients where they are. Every person's journey is unique, and progress looks different for everyone. Through compassionate, affirming care, clients are empowered to build resilience, strengthen relationships, increase independence, and create meaningful change on their own terms.
Because change is a journey—and you don't have to navigate it alone.
Meet Lindsey
Compassionate Support, Personalized Care
Hi, I'm Lindsey Miller, M.Ed., LPC, and I'm passionate about helping people feel seen, heard, and supported as they navigate life's challenges.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than 20 years working in the public school system as both a teacher and school counselor. Throughout my career, I partnered closely with adolescents and their families, supporting their social, emotional, and academic growth. Those experiences gave me a deep appreciation for the unique challenges young people face, as well as the important role that connection, understanding, and support play in helping individuals thrive.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I bring both my mental health training and years of real-world experience working with adolescents, young adults, and families into the therapy room. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and the everyday challenges that can leave us feeling overwhelmed or stuck.
My approach is person-centered, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe that healing begins when we feel safe enough to be ourselves without fear of judgment. I strive to create a warm and supportive space where clients can be open, vulnerable, and authentic. Through empathetic listening, I help clients recognize their strengths, build resilience, and develop practical tools to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and self-awareness.
I firmly believe that everyone is capable of growth and meaningful change. My goal is not only to help clients cope with difficult situations but also to empower them to better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and create lives that feel more balanced, fulfilling, and aligned with who they are.
Whether you're facing a specific challenge or simply looking for support and guidance, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
